The cottage built in 1839 was derelict before we commenced a long renovation. At the time there was nothing on the first floor just 3 basic rooms on the ground floor.
The cottage now boasts a fully fitted large modern kitchen with a large dining table, a very large sitting room with a powerful wood burner and comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy socialising. On the ground floor there is also a good sized shower room with WC.
On the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a beautiful old chestnut floor and exposed beams along with a attractive en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are smaller with a double bed in one and two single beds in the other.
Outside the cottage has its own private fenced garden. Note that while pet dogs are accepted the fencing is not guaranteed to be small dog proof. It is primarily intended to keep small children within its confines. You will find a nice outside dining area which is a real sun-trap with another dining table and barbecue.
Beyond the private garden there are extensive grounds around the buildings for you to enjoy especially the large sunset terrace and the other end of the farmyard which is equipped with comfortable sofa and more eating areas and a fire cauldron.
